GMAP's assistance

GMAP offers free of charge telephone and email technical assistance on gender in mine action to organisations. The programme assists a wide range of mine action stakeholders to analyse their work through a gender lens, assessing how projects are implemented, making sure that the needs of women, girls, boys and men are highlighted and met.

This assistance can be related to reviewing documents, providing comments on project proposals, undertaking organisational reviews and informing various media about the issue offering data, statistics and other information.
